From high above we watched the moon rise...

...then rode down the mountain by the light of the silvery moon.

Leaving the barn at dusk we ride up to Picnic Point, one of the greatest views of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille. At Picnic Point we wait for the moon to rise while sipping drinks and eating cheese and fruit. The moon rises over Lake Pend Oreille to "Ohhs" and "ahhs" We ride down by the light of the silvery moon. It's a leisurely evening and one of the best of the summer. (weather permitting.)

Starting around 6 p.m.

From the horse Corral in the Village, we will ride to Picnic Point which overlooks the Selkirk Valley and Lake Pend Oreille.

We hang out at Picnic Point till the moon rises, enjoying refreshments, then ride down by the light of the silvery moon! We get back to the barn between 11 and midnight.

Cost is $75 per person, ride leaves about 6 pm (time varies a bit with the moon schedule)

Call 263-TROT to reserve. We may rebook (due to weather) or pass overbookings to the following night.
